Boinc no usable gpus found install#
(The newest clients install to /var/lib/boinc, making a symlink to boinc-client if it it is already present from an older version so that data is conserved.) If you have installed BOINC from the repository, version 7.6.33 installs in /var/lib/boinc-client and expects to run as a service (daemon) for user boinc, not as a user-space application as it might on Windows.

I have tried to install BOINC using Synaptic Package manager, seemingly installing without problems. I have the idea of just use this computer as a backup file server on my home network, so low spec is not an issue for that use. Have this old computer that is running BunsenLabs Helium, 32 bit.
